Kim Price ‘Beyond the Surface: Abstract in Layers’

7 - 27 June 2024

Kim Price is a Brisbane based abstract and mixed media artist using acrylic, inks, pastel and collage. Her goal is to create colourful, expressive, energetic paintings that take the viewer to a new place - to explore not just what they see, but what is underneath - those hidden elements that evoke a feeling of secret discovery. This exhibition brings together a body of work from 2023-24 and was inspired by her love of rich texture, vibrant colours and the contextual history created by layers. Kim will be demonstrating her work in the gallery during the exhibition and invites visitors to explore and experience these works in person.
